These are two easy recipes that I use as a starting point for my green smoothies. There are so many things you can add or substitute.
What I'm loving at the moment...
In smoothie 1 I'm loving frozen blueberries, maca root, hemp protein and Ceres Organics new product Linseed, Sunflower, Chia (LSC)
In smoothie 2 I am loving brewed and chilled peppermint tea for a minty fresh start to the day. Thanks to my friend Xenia for this recommendation x
(At first, it's recommended to go with an approximately 50/50 by volume blend of green veggies and fruits, or even 40/60 greens to fruits. This helps start out with something tastier (sweeter) at first if you're not used to raw ground up greens. Eventually, one can get bolder with a higher ratio of greens to fruits.)
